A Baby Shower to Remember: Quilt Making Fun in Chichester!

There's something extra special about bringing people together to create a handmade keepsake, and that's exactly what happened at our recent Baby Shower Craft Party held at the beautiful Chichester Arts Centre.

With 40 plus friends and family gathered to celebrate a mum-to-be, the atmosphere was full of excitement, laughter, and creativity from the moment everyone arrived. Instead of traditional baby shower games, guests took part in a collaborative quilt-making activity, creating individual fabric squares that would later be stitched together into one quilt for the new arrival.

One of the things we love most about quilt-making parties is that everyone can join in, regardless of their crafting experience. Some guests carefully planned their designs, while others embraced their creative side and let inspiration take over. The result was a wonderful collection unique squares, each reflecting the personality and love of the person who made it.

As the afternoon unfolded, conversations flowed, friendships were celebrated, and memories were made. It was lovely to see guests of all ages sitting side-by-side, creating something that the family will treasure for years to come.

By the end of the event, there was a real sense of pride and excitement as everyone admired the finished collection of quilt squares. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us  and helped make the celebration so memorable. We feel privileged to have been part of such a joyful occasion and can't wait to see the finished quilt enjoyed for many years to come.
