At Crafts and Giggles, we love nothing more than helping people celebrate life’s special moments through creativity, giggles, and a little bit of sparkle. Recently, we hosted a fabulous 60th birthday craft party in Poole, Dorset, and it was a lovely occasion!

We joined the ladies for an alfresco crafting experience, surrounded by a beautiful garden and autumn sunshine. There’s something so lovely about creating outdoors — fresh air and inspiration from the colours of the season.

Nipple Tassel Making – A Cheeky Start!

We began the craft party with something a little cheeky — nipple tassel making! It’s a light-hearted and laughter-filled craft that always breaks the ice and gets everyone chatting. The ladies really embraced the challenge, designing their own fun and fabulous tassels to take home (and giggle about later!).

Autumn Faux Wreath Workshop

After plenty of giggles, we moved on to something beautifully seasonal — faux autumn wreath making. Using rich autumnal tones, berries, and foliage, each guest created a stunning wreath to hang proudly at home. It was so lovely to see how different everyone’s designs turned out.

We can finally share the news — we have added some of our festive craft workshops as public dates, and we couldn’t be more excited! There’s something so special about getting creative, and soaking up the creative magic of the season.

To kick things off, we’re hosting a Christmas Candle Painting Workshop at the beautiful BEAR Wimborne café. It’s the perfect way to add a personal touch to your festive décor (or create a handmade gift for someone special).

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful Marriott Hotel in Leicester to run a Ceramic Painting event for The Relationships Centre Leicestershire (formerly known as Relate) as part of their annual Team Day. From the moment we arrived, the energy in the room was warm and welcoming.

The team were excited to step away from their busy schedules and spend the afternoon connecting, unwinding, and exploring their creative sides.

Ceramic painting is a fantastic way to bring people together — no artistic experience required! As everyone picked their brushes and chose their colours, it was lovely to see conversations flowing, giggles filling the room, and creative ideas taking shape. Each design reflected their personality, and by the end of the session, the tables were filled with beautifully hand-painted pieces.

Team Days like this are a wonderful reminder of the power of creativity to bring people closer. Whether it’s through a shared activity, a bit of laughter, or a moment of calm, these experiences strengthen bonds and leave lasting memories.

We can hardly believe we’re writing this… Crafts and Giggles has officially turned 14!

What started as a simple idea all those years ago has blossomed into something far beyond what we could have imagined. 

When we first started, we had no idea just how many people across the UK would join us on this colourful, joy-filled journey. To be spreading the love of creativity for over a decade – and still going strong – feels incredibly special.

Spreading creativity has always been our passion. 

Katie, our founder, truly believes it's her calling to bring people together through the joy of arts and crafts. Over the years, we've been lucky enough to inspire thousands of people – from children’s parties and hen dos to corporate wellness events and seasonal workshops.​

Of course, none of this would have been possible without our amazing team of workshop providers. Their energy, talent, and commitment to creativity have helped us grow our little business into something that touches so many lives. Whether it’s guiding a team-building craft session or helping someone discover a hidden talent, they bring Crafts and Giggles to life.
