This November we were thrilled to be asked to be part of the fun that took place in the Family Fun Zone at Cheltenham Racecourse during their November meet. It was bursting with colour and happy chaos as Crafts & Giggles spent the day crafting, creating, and giggling with so many families. It was a great day, where the grown-ups joined in, and everyone left with something handmade.

From flower crowns to mini horse finger puppets and feather headdresses, the crafting tables stayed lively from start to finish—exactly how we like it!

Flower Crowns Everywhere!

The flower crown making station quickly turned into a floral festival. Families mixed and matched bright flowers, and foliage to build crowns that were worn throughout the race day. It was the perfect way for families to get creative and add a splash of colour to their Cheltenham day out.
 
Mini Horse Finger Puppets Trotted Off with joy

The mini horse finger puppets were a total crowd-pleaser—no surprise being at Cheltenham Racecourse! Children created their own tiny racehorses using shapes, googly eyes, and a whole lot of imagination. Some made speedy champions, others designed cute Shetland ponies.

Feather Headdresses Brought the carnival theme Vibes

Feathers, sparkles, gems… the feather headdress table had it all. This craft was all about going bold, and the children did not hold back! The finished pieces were bright, joyful, and unique. The whole zone shimmered with festival flair as families showed off their handmade creations.
 
What made the day truly special was the atmosphere—relaxed, friendly, creative, and full of giggles. We loved seeing families unwind, get hands-on, and try something new together. 
 
The combination of racing excitement and family-friendly crafting made this November meet one to remember. We left with smiles, glittery fingers, and tons of brilliant handmade masterpieces! A big thank you for having us, we hope to be back soon! 

What better way to start the festive season than with a room full of giggles, creativity, and Christmas spirit? Last week we hosted our very first Christmas Craft Party of 2025 in London, and it was nothing short of amazing.

When Sainsbury’s reached out about adding something creative to their Christmas party at Detton’s, we couldn’t wait to get started. After chatting through the options, we landed on the perfect festive activity: Christmas wreath hoop making. It’s fun, stylish, and gives everyone a keepsake to take home.

Ready‑Made Kits for Stress‑Free Crafting

To make sure things ran smoothly, we prepared individual craft kits for each guest. Inside were all the goodies—foliage, festive flowers, and everything needed to create a wreath.

Two Groups, Double the Festive Fun

The party split into two groups of 30, each with 30 minutes to craft their wreaths. The atmosphere was buzzing—tables filled with greenery, ribbons, and plenty of chatter. By the end, every single person had a beautiful handmade wreath to take home.

From creepy masks to door hangers, little hands were busy bringing their imaginations to life in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere right in the heart of Cwmbran, South Wales.

Families stopped by to enjoy a range of free children’s craft activities. It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying Halloween fun together, and proudly showing off their creepy creations while shopping and exploring everything Cwmbran Shopping Centre has to offer.
