Yesterday we were lucky enough to be invited by The White Chapel Building and Derwent London to be a part of their time to change campaign with two Ceramic Painting Workshops. They were offering a week of mixed activities to encourage the staff to take time to talk, and to take care of their mental wellbeing within the work place.
It was such a wonderful afternoon, and extremely rewarding for both the participants and Katie who hosted the Ceramic Painting. The staff took time out of their busy working day to sit down for an hour and be creative. Everyone each painted a mug and coaster. The designs were fabulous! The feedback from doing the corporate crafts was amazing! One lady said “I have an extremely stressful job, so being able to sit down and do this is lovely and so needed, thank you” another lady said “thank you, this is the best thing I have ever done” This feedback means the world to us, but it was also important to hear these words because it proves just how important creativity is for mental wellbeing. Thank you so much for having us and allowing us to be apart of such an important campaign. We had the best time and engaged with some amazing people. If you are looking for some crafty corporate fun for your staff get in touch we would love to help!
