As the nights draw in and the air feels fresh we get the fuzzy feeling of excitement, as we know Christmas is on it's way! Christmas is one of our favourite times of the year, as it is all about the handmade and craft! Every year we set ourselves tasks at home, and in the office in the lead up to Christmas (which are always way too ambitious, but we, as I am sure most of you out there aim to achieve everything on the list!) From Handmade decorations, textile wreaths, wrapping papers, mince pies, the Christmas pudding etc... This can sometimes be a little overwhelming so we always suggest starting with the basics!
Our basics started nearly a month ago! We started to rummage through all of last years Christmas fabrics, embellishments and trimmings! All of which triggered such wonderful memories of a fun crafty Christmas! We stick with the old saying 'Waste not want not' and keep hold of everything! We re discovered such beautiful Christmas fabrics, from reindeer themed to fun gingerbread men! You can get so many quirky Christmas prints these days, which only inspire us to make more! We are looking forward to start using our Christmas fabrics for all sorts of projects, and we can not WAIT to see them being used at our Christmas Craft parties!
