A Craft Hen Party by the Sea!

We headed to Portsmouth on Saturday to host Craft Hen Party for a wonderful group of ladies! It was such a great event, and all of the bride to be's friends were super lovely. The bridesmaids booked a surprise Quilt Making session for Liz (the bride to be). She had no idea until we introduced the session! Surprise parties are always the best, as the anticipation from everyone is so exciting. Liz was chuffed to bits with The Quilt Making, (much to our relief). 

We were asked to provide a range of coloured fabrics and trimmings on the day! We love being able to put colours of our choice together, although it can be a bit nerve wracking as we always want the bride to be to be happy! We went for bright and contrasting coloured fabrics, and Liz and her friends loved them!

The craft hen party got stuck in, choosing their fabrics and were off making! They were such a creative party, designing and making such intricate quilt squares. So much love and care went into each one. 

When we put all of the finished squares together (see pic to your left) they looked amazing! The colours they chose work SO well, creating such an impact! We know that the finished quilt will be such a perfect keepsake.
