When Lydia (the bridesmaid) asked us if we could host a Craft Hen Party on a moving Steam Train in beautiful Wales, we couldn't believe our luck! Wow what an amazing opportunity for our workshop provider and us, how could we say no! The hen party decided to do a Garter Making craft party, the perfect craft full of giggles.

Claire who hosted the party for us was very excited and had a great time! Here is what she thought of the experience:

"It was a fantastic experience. I arrived at a snowy, mountainous terrain hearing the distant sounds of a steam train, hooting around the hills. Soon the clouds of steam approached me and halted at the station. The door opened up to a group of ladies with excited, welcoming smiles, I was instantly warmed. Lydia introduced me to Shakira, the bride to be and we revealed that we were making Garters that afternoon. The carriage rocked around the mountain and the craft hen party rocked inside too. Moments of concentrated sewing were punctuated with the moments of laughter (and sips of gin!) Using the thoroughfare to parade the finished pieces, each person produced something different; something new, something blue and definitely something wild and wacky! How much more magical can you get on a snowy, crafty, hen weekend?"

A couple of weeks ago we were lucky enough to be invited to host some crafty fun for Pinterest at their London Head office. Two of the team are expecting beautiful baby boys, and they wanted to include something crafty at the office Baby Shower! We jumped at the chance as we love holding Craft Baby Showers! Pinterest wanted the team to be able to choose two crafts to do on the day, and opted for Customising Baby Grows, and Baby Bunting! 

Every craft party we host is bespoke, so we headed off to several fabric shops to buy baby themed fabrics and haberdashery so Pinterest had lots of yummy bits to choose from on the day. Both men and women got stuck in and made some wonderful personalised  keepsakes for the mums to be!
