We have had the pleasure of hosting Craft Hen Parties all over the UK and beyond for the past 13 years. We bring the joy of crafting to your doorstep taking away the stress of putting on a hen party activity. Our Craft Hen Parties are about bringing people together. Often at a Hen Party some people haven’t met before. Our crafty fun gives people the chance to sit down together to chat and craft, a great icebreaker. Our crafts range from Flower Crown Making to Painting Parties. All our sessions are suitable for all abilities, even those who say they aren’t creative. We work with talented workshop providers who guide and inspire throughout so you will always be in safe hands. Happy new year! We hope everyone enjoyed the festive period and you are excited for the year ahead! We can’t believe it has been 6 months since we wrote our last blog post…time got away from us as we were busy hosting summer Craft Parties and Events. As we head into our 14th year (yes that’s right, pinch us) of running Crafts and Giggles we still get that excited feeling! We never know what each year will bring, the only guarantee is there will be lots of giggles and fun ahead! As we reflect on last year, we must take a moment to say thank you. A big thank you to our crafters who we call friends, our talented workshop providers and venues who use us year after year. We have lots of exciting Craft Parties (including many Craft Hen Parties) booked in for 2025, and have availability for many more. If you are looking to add in a creative element to your event, give a us a call or pop us an email, we would love to help! Summer is almost here…we can smell the fresh cut grass in the warmer air, barbeques being lit and we are here for it! There is nothing better for us than hosting our craft parties outside in the sunshine… We recently headed to Worcestershire to host a Paining Party for a wonderful hen party and wanted to share the crafty fun with you. The hens requested to each paint a portrait of the bride to be! They each took along their favourite photo memory of her, and with our artistic expertise guided everyone along the way to create her portrait using acrylic paint… Didn’t they do well! Our Painting Parties are becoming very popular, and we can see why. They are full of giggles and will be sure to get your creative juices flowing. On Saturday Anissa and Katie had the pleasure of heading to the Ivy in Guildford to host a magical Craft Hen Party for the wonderful bride to be Liz and her hens! The Ivy was the most perfect setting. The wall and ceiling art added to the mythical and magical vibes of hosting Unicorn Headdress Making. The bride to be booked the craft party herself for all of her girlfriends, and they had no idea what they would be doing with us. To start with some did look a bit bewildered but soon got stuck in. and really enjoyed making and designing their own Unicorn Headdresses. Anissa and Katie were amazed by all of their creations, and everyone looked great! A big thank you to Liz for having us be part of her special day.

We were lucky enough to be invited back to Cwmbran Centre to host some eggcellent Easter Craft Workshops across two days! The children had a great time making Easter Cards to give to loved ones, and Decorations to hang in their homes with pride. The drop in craft station was ran by Leanne, Claire. Katie and Rachel. They all got in the Easter spirit with their Easter themed face paint (see the picture below). As well as our Easter crafty fun, the centre put on Face Painting, Balloon modelling, a fun train, a Marching band and more! The atmosphere was buzzing and it was great to bring everyone together. We will be heading back to Cwmbran Centre across the summer holidays, offering more children's crafts full of giggles! Can't wait to see you all again soon! As we enter spring we are taking a moment to be thankful…we can’t believe how many wonderful Craft Hen Party bookings we have received. This is also a good time to tell you we have added two BRAND NEW craft party workshops this month! Candle Painting and Pressed Flower Tealight Holders. These are both fun and beautiful activities we know our hen parties will enjoy very much! If you are planning a Hen Party and looking to include something creative! Get in touch we would love to help you, supplying you with lots of crafts and giggles! Crafts and Giggles have been hosting Craft Workshops at Cwmbran Shopping Centre for the past two years, and absolutely delighted to be invited back this year! We will be there throughout 2024 right up until the Christmas light switch on at the end of November. We kick started the crafty fun last Saturday hosting Children’s crafts in celebration of St David’s Day. The Children made cute dragon finger puppets and daffodil cards with Leanne and Jodie. Our craft workshops are put on by Cwmbran Centre to offer something fun for the community. The crafts are free to the public and everyone is welcome. We are heading back to the centre this Saturday 9th March to offer free Mother's Day crafts for children and mums! We can't wait to see you all there!

Our popular Nipple Tassel Making sessions could well be for you! We have noticed how popular this hen party activity has become over the past few years. Most likely because it offers something for everyone! During the session everyone learns how to make Nipple Tassels from start to finish with one of our amazing workshop providers. We provide so many yummy fabrics, trimmings and more on the day! Here is what our most recent Hen Party group thought: “Crafts & Giggles Nipple Tassel Making workshop was fantastic! Katie and Kate were very informative and clear in their instructions. They provided all the materials needed with such a range of accessories and fabrics to choose from. We had such a lovely time for our hen party and can’t recommend them enough” Nipple Tassel Making isn’t just a hen do activity! We have hosted this for a 60th birthday party before which was so much fun! If this craft party is of interest contact us today for more details! We would love to bring the crafts and giggles to you! We are a bit late writing this blog post, it has been a busy old time with lots of Craft Hen Party bookings...however better late the never! Last December we were invited to host a Christmas Craft Party at Amazon’s Head Office in Manchester (which we were very excited about). They have a wellbeing group who get together to enjoy different activities throughout the year which is a lovely thing to do. Our Corporate Craft Workshops and parties are great for people’s wellbeing. As well as being full of giggles they are relaxing and mindful to do. Amazon chose to paint Ceramic Christmas Decorations. We were blown away by the creative talent in the room! All 36 participants came up with unique and beautiful designs that they should feel proud to hang of their Christmas trees. At the end of 2023 we were invited by Newbury Racecourse to host some crafty fun for the children and families at their Coral Challow Hurdle Day. The focus was on providing the children with lots of fun activities to enjoy on the day, from our crafts to face painting (hosted by other companies). One of our favourite things to do is put together bespoke crafts for family events. We planned and executed crafts that would be suitable for the type of event and ages provided. All of the families and children had a great time making horse themed finger puppets and headbands. The children could wear their creations throughout the race day with pride.
